The Compass Rose presents a rare opportunity to vacation just steps away from Stover's Point Beach! You'll appreciate ocean views from nearly every window in this 2017 custom built 4-bedroom home! This tastefully decorated and well-appointed home has everything you're looking for in a 4-season vacation home. Step into a bright and airy open concept first floor that is perfect for hosting family gatherings, with large comfortable living room, kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, island breakfast bar, and dining for 8. The half bath is located in the foyer, and also houses the washer and dryer.
Upstairs, you'll find a charming nook with built-in bookshelves, a twin sleeper sofa and a smart TV. The master bedroom suite features stunning ocean views, a king-sized bed, walk-in closet and bathroom with an enormous tiled walk-in shower. The second bedroom is perfect for kids, with a twin over full bunk bed, and the third bedroom features a queen-sized bed. The second full bath on this level features a tub/shower combo, a nice convenience for families with small children.
A fourth bedroom, with two twin beds, and full bath with walk-in shower have been completed in the finished basement.
A large deck off of the living room adds to the entertainment space, and the fenced backyard will feature a patio and a separate firepit area. The yard is adjacent to Stover's Point Preserve, so views are spectacular, and beach access couldn't be easier! Vacation memories will be plentiful at The Compass Rose, whether its waking to the smell of the salt air, enjoying leisurely walks on the beach, launching your kayak or paddle board, or just sitting and watching the working lobster boats and pleasure boats in Harpswell Sound.
Dogs are welcome at The Compass Rose (a non-refundable pet fee applies).

We had originally planned to stay near Boothbay but when we saw the Compass Rose we knew it was "the one." Everything about it is wonderful from the fully stocked kitchen to the view of the cove. There is a great place to pick up lobsters nearby which is next door to a wonderful restaurant.

The four bedrooms were all very nicely decorated and substantial. The gathering area has an open concept which allows all house guests to gather very comfortably. The back deck is also a great place for morning coffee. The staff were very attentive and quick with their response. We highly recommend this property.

Clean modern home, top of the line appliances with a fantastic master shower. Great morning sun on the deck and afternoon shade. Great water views and bird watching. Fun to walk down to Stovers Point to watch a sunset.

This was a beautiful home that served as our home base for a week. It was close to the water, spotless and conveniently located to Brunswick. We would not hesitate to stay here again. It was great to have the choice to stay in and explore the beachfront or head out to nearby towns like Freeport abd Brunswick to shop, dine out or catch a movie. Great convenient location.
Despite April showers, my family and I enjoyed our stay at the Compass Rose. Lovely view of the harbor and comfortable play to stay.
