The house sits above the ocean! You can walk on the beach at low tide and take a dip at high tide. The deck, with table and chairs, and the large windows in the living room and upstairs bedroom capture the view and beautiful sunsets. The bedroom with twin beds is small and the bedroom in the basement is a bit stuffy, but both ok for sleeping. You can pay for sheets and towels which are very good quality. The neighborhood is quiet. The house was very clean and well supplied. Checking in was easy and communication was very good. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, walking on trails, visiting the Bowdoin College museum, and eating at Allen's Seafood and The Dolphin! We recommend this rental!

We’ve never stayed in the midcoast area before and were very pleased with our experience with the Bay Vista property and MaineStay Vacations. The property had amazing views and was in a nice, quiet area, very conducive to a relaxing vacation. It was clean, well-stocked and comfortable - we spent a lot of time enjoying the views from the deck, kayaking from nearby George Mitchell Park and driving around the area. It was very humid during our stay, so we were very happy to have A/C!
The MaineStay team was very informative and super responsive, making sure we had all of the necessary info to fully enjoy our stay.

Our stay at Bay Vista was perfect! The views were amazing, sunsets included! It was great to be able to walk the beach at low tide and swim at high tide. The home was very clean and comfortable, loved all the windows, and had everything we needed. The location was great, various areas to explore locally, and convenient to have Brunswick close by. The management team was great with providing us all necessary info, and always quick to respond if we had questions. We look forward to staying here again- thank you!!

Bay Vista is a wonderful place to stay! It is like a front row seat in a great nature show. The sunsets are magnificent, the ducks and birds are abundant and the ocean is fantastic! The house is cozy and well supplied with everything that is needed. The living space is relaxing and the sleeping arrangements are comfortable for guests. The location is quiet and peaceful. It is easy to get to many great hikes around Harpswell as well as excellent shopping in Brunswick and Freeport. We have completely enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this home to others!

Amazing views of both sunset and sunrise from this property. We enjoyed watching lobstering, dolphins, and even a a couple seals in front of the home. It was a very clean and comfortable place to stay and centrally located for lots of day trip options.

From the moment we walked through the door we fell in love with Bay Vista! The many windows provided gorgeous views, let in refreshing salt air & the sounds unique to the coast of Maine. Everything was bright, clean, comfortable, cozy, well stocked, and convenient. We immediately felt relaxed & at home. We recommend radio station WYAR 88.3 to provide the magic of music from yesteryear. Our first night we enjoyed a stunning sunset viewed from the spacious deck & fell asleep to the sound of the waves lapping at the rocks during high tide. The king size bed, in the master bedroom overlooking the bay, couldn't have been more comfortable. We admired all the lovely renovations to this spacious cottage. We enjoyed the private beach, the quiet location, the easy stroll to nearby Mitchell Field with its trails, beach & views. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed & recharged. Bay Vista is THE perfect vacation getaway!!

Bay Vista is a lovely house in a quiet neighborhood with an amazing view and well maintained. As a family of 5 adults we really enjoyed our stay. You can feast on Lobster all around and there is plenty to explore from there if you're willing to drive a little. The Maine Stay team is warm and professionnal. The whole reservation process is smooth.

Bay Vista is a beautiful house and property, with a great location, right on the water and just a short walk to Mitchell Field. My dog and I were in heaven here, and the time flew by much too fast. It was the best Maine vacation of our lives in the last 8 years! And everyone at MaineStay was super-friendly and helpful. I hope very much to return next summer.
The location of this rental is unmatched! At the end of a private dirt road with no traffic or noise other than the sound of a boat or waves lapping. It was great to sleep with the windows open as well. We'd definitely come back!
