The Overlook

We had a spectacular time at The Overlook. The house was impeccable, and the views are exquisite. Cannot say enough good things.

Lewiston High School girls annual weekend. Great place to host our get together. Fully stocked kitchen and ample space for all of us to gather and enjoy conversation, wine and food!

We woke up to beautiful morning views of Casco Bay as we planned our day of sightseeing around Harpswell. Sunsets on the deck as the schooner Alert sailed by were spectacular.

The home is perfect. It was very clean, not too many breakable trinkets (we traveled with kids), and a wonderful kitchen/dining set up. The rocky beach below is a wonderful place to play. Sun rises and sunsets that you won’t believe.

Great getaway on a picturesque island on Casco Bay

For the second year, evrything about our stay was wonderful. The property was spotless clean, when we arrived. We had a couple of small issues, with a lightswitch and a sink drain. These were taken care of immediately.

The place was perfectly clean, the furniture, colors, and linens all added to the sense of quiet and peace. We sat on the deck or ate at the dining room table and always had views of the water. Great restaurants nearby for eating out.

The Overlook is a gorgeous spot, comfortable and well-equipped. We will be back!

The proprty was completely as advertised. There were many amenities and was the cleanest, by far, of the 6 different properties we have rented in the past. Relaxing, quiet and enjoyable.

We have been vacationing on Orr’s island and Baileys Island Over 15 years. So far the overlook is the best place to relax On the porch lookout at beautiful view Beautiful sunsets. Kayak ... close by general store and restaurants., Heaven on earth.

We have rented houses in Maine for many years and have found Homes and Harbors to be top notch. Any concerns (very few!) have been quickly and completely addressed. We plan to rent from them again!

The Overlook on Baileys island , Harpswell Maine. Beautiful sunset rise and sunset , view, kitchen, just awesome! Everything was just perfect . Definitely recommend to any family to rent this beautiful home with all the amenities . We will be booking this house next year , it’s just like home.

The name says it all - the Overlook is perched above a quintessential bit of Maine coast. It has all the comforts of home and a view to die for.

Overlook is a very special place beautifully decorated and well maintained. The multiple sun light decks and windows offer great water views with cool breezes. This place and this island makes you forget there is another world out there. My wife and I look forward to be able to return next year. Doug and Joan

If you are looking for a true Maine experience in a heaven on earth location, this is it. The Overlook was well appointed, comfortable and well stocked. The sunsets were magnificent. Even though there are other homes nearby the landscape made it a very private oasis!
